AlQouz – “The Street” “The Street” is really a destination for the Dubai community to thrive, rather than your typical mall environment. It’s a new and unique facility that combines high-end retail, F&B, warehousing, leisure, sport, wellness and office within a street scene, all in one location. Think of ‘The Street’ as a “Destination” where the community will want to spend time with family, in wellness, rejuvenation, leisure, and retail.
Currently AlQouz has a significant regeneration master plan being implemented throughout its region. While as a unique facility, “The Street” aims to kickstart this initiative within this location and for the surrounding area. All in accordance with this Government led improvement initiative as a cultural and arts hub in the UAE region.
The Street is planned to be a state-of-the-art facility that’s ‘Ahead of the Game’ in the area. The development will also be a facility with sustainable features and green initiatives unlike anything else currently located in the surrounding areas.
Commercial spaces will be designed for the 21st Century model, with the retractable roofs allowing for the open-air winter months environment, while optimised for sun shading in summer months. This enables, for the cooler months of the year, natural fresh air into the street making it feel like an open street environment.
There will be a plethora of tree species and an abundance of natural planting creating a micro-climate look and feel. Along with solar powered air conditioning for the hotter months of the year.
